How do i create a test bench infrastructure where I can easily switch between vips being used by different vendors ?

My personal experience is that there is never a way to ‘easily switch’ between VIPs. You need to account for differences at the HDL Testbench, UVM Environment, Sequence and Test levels. These are a lot of differences to account for and it becomes a nightmare to manage.
My recommendation is to select a set of VIPs to use for the entire project cycle and develop a single environment with them.
