Instead of having a write() method in Functional Coverage block can we use run_phase() method ? If yes then can we call multiple sample() methods in run_phase() at a time???

You can the sample() method of a covergroup whenever and wherever you want; as along as you have the handle to the covergroup and it make sense to do so.
