Could you please clarify how option.weight is used in coverage caluculation

could you please provide the example in detail , how option.weight is used in coverage calculation.

I rarely see a weight other than 0. In that case, it simply removes the covergroup or coverpoint from the coverage calculation. It makes it easier to conditionally ignore coverpoints.
