Which registry model to use? From the cadence or the mentor's one?

Hi All,

As had a confusion in the olden days of OVM between using scenario or sequencer, now just had an confusion like which one to use with is it the mentor’s registery model or the mentors one as both released different version of there own register model!! Kindly let me know as I am novice to this register factory model!!

An added thing to the above thread, does ovm_rgm released by cadence runs is Questa ??? or just runs in cadence simulator!!! And as well the vice versa, does the ovm package released by mentor works in both the simulators is it??? Kindly let me know as this is quite critical !!!

Hi desperado,

I am currently using OVM_RGM released by cadence with questa tool.
There are some modifications required for Package provided by cadence to work in questa, If you are intersted in updates, Please send mail to vishnu@testbench.in
