OVM-VMM Interoperability Supplemental Kit

This kit is a supplement to the Accellera VIP Interop Library available for download on Sourceforge at

http://sourceforge.net/projects/acc-vip-iop/

The OVM-VMM interop supplemental kit contains additional adapters and examples that augment those found in the Accellera kit.

- Adds adapters and examples showing how to connect OVM components to vmm_atomic_gen and vmm_scenario_gen xactors via their inject and inject_obj methods, respectively.

- Adds adapters and examples showing how to run vmm_scenarios and vmm_ms_scenarios alongside OVM sequences.

- Demonstrates how you can reuse vmm_envs by embedding them in an OVM environment. A series of examples begins with a simple vmm_env integration and progresses to full encapsulation, where the vmm_env looks and behaves as an OVM component. Leveraging OVM's scalability, multiple vmm_envs can integrated in ever-larger testbench environments.

- Seamless, integrated documentation and installation instructions for the combined kits.

This kit is designed to overlay the Accellera kit. The basic procedure is to untar the Accellera kit, cd into the ovm_vmm_interop directory from that kit, then untar this overlay kit from that directory. Then, point your browser to the README.html and click on Overview and Overview-Overlay for orientation and instructions on how to run the examples.
