How to connect the TB to the systemC reference model?

Hi All,

I am pretty much confused or dont have an idea on how to connect the OVM test bench to the “SystemC” golden reference model.

I would like to connect a TLM fifo sending the transaction from the sequencer to the “systemC” golden reference model, which in turn the output from the reference model is used for comparing the results.

Can any one post a simple example just explaining the steps connecting the TLM fifo from the sequencer to the systemC reference model and the same in the OVM environment!!

At the moment, there is no standard interface between SC and SV. Some vendors have provided prototype implementations.

If you are using Questa, there is a very small example in the installation directory <…>/examples/systemc/systemc_dpi. You can contact us directly for a complete example using OVM/TLM.

If you are using Incisive there are mixed language capabilities available in Incisive for doing this. There is an example that is very close to what you
are describing posted here:

It is titled “OVM integration with SC TLM2” but it is also applicable if you are working with TLM1.

For further information contact Cadence support on Incisive mixed language features.
