I have used modelsim for just compiling a dut and testbench in sv or verilog .But while migrating to ovm env what are the changes needed in setting the path or what commands are required ?
The README-Questa.txt file provides specific information required to run OVM on Questa/Modelsim. There are specific version requirements correlating to each OVM release, so make sure that you meet these.
There are also instructions provided to compile and simulate with the OVM.
Please contact your Mentor support person if you have any specific issues.
where do i find the readme-questa.txt file?
The README-Questa.txt file is located in the root directory of the OVM source tree.
There are also plenty of examples in the OVM example directory which show how to compile and simulate with Questa/Modelsim. Be advised that there are several advanced features utilized by the OVM, and dependent on the specific licenses you have for Modelsim.
thank you sir for ur recomendation .i think those example in the root directory are working fine according to the readme-questa.txt.
But i m working on some higher level design that’s showing some prob.
for further progress i seek ur help

Show us some code with compile commands/script and we can assist. Is this a student Masters’ thesis or something? If yes, consider joining our BUDS Univ program (it is free), see: http://www.cvcblr.com/downloads/BUDs_CVC_Acad.pdf
