A Mentor OVM/VMM Interoperability Library - Update

This kit is an update to the previously-posted OVM/VMM Interoperability kit from Mentor, and includes improved documentation including:

  • instructions for Windows users [that's right, you can now easily run your VMM code on Windows],
  • more examples (all fully documented) that show you step-by-step how to integrate your legacy VMM code into an OVM environment, as well as
  • minor kit restructuring.

As with the previous kit, this new kit contains an OVM/VMM interoperability library that meets and exceeds the requirements recently approved by the Accellera VIP-TSC. It includes a collection of adapters and utilities that enable legacy VMM envs and xactors to be reused in an OVM environment without modification, or to be wrapped in an OVM component to hide the VMM-specific details of the VIP. In addition, it contains a version of the VMM that is compliant with the SystemVerilog standard, and has been enhanced to support OVM interoperability. This kit requires OVM-2.0.1 and Questa-6.4a or later.
