Interactive way to learn UVM

So I got a new job as a Verification Engineer, and I need to learn UVM. My manager wants me to go thru the UVM cookbook on the Siemens Verification Academy, but having spent time with that, I feel like I’m not learning anything really useful. I’m just taking down notes from what I read, but since I’m not practicing anything its not really getting thru to me in a meaningful way. For anybody here who knows UVM pretty well like a Verification Engineer, what would you say is the best way to learn this thing, because I GOTTA learn it for my job. I want to learn it, I have a genuine interest in it, but I just can’t learn it like this.

There are several vendors which provide in-person and instructor led UVM training courses. If you can’t self-teach using the Verification Academy courses, this would be the best recommendation.
