Random number

Consider we have to detect the 1010 from the given sequence of input

How to randomly give the input for the sequence?

In reply to Design Engineer:

If you are taking about a 1-bit input with a sequence of 2 Ones and 2 Zeros within 4 cycles, then you can randomized a 4-bit vector with a constraint of 2 Ones and 2 Zeros and store the results into a register. You can then serially clock out that register.
