Free Verification Futures Event Open To All
“Verification Futures” is a series of FREE 1 day conferences over 3 days in November 2012 organised by TVS and ECSI to discuss the challenges facing the industry over the next 5 years. Following the exceptional response to the first Verification Conference held in the UK, TVS and ECSI are pleased to announce that this year’s conference will be held in three European cities and we expect to have over 600 verification engineers at the three conferences – it’s an excellent chance to network and catch up with other verification engineers across Europe.
Harry Foster Comments
We asked Harry Foster of Mentor about the type of challenges he is currently seeing at user sites and how Mentor is helping to solve them?
"We’ve seen a remarkable emergence of new advanced verification techniques, methodologies, and languages within the past ten years. And recent industry studies have indicated a rapid acceleration in their adoption. Yet, there is a difference between ad hoc adoption (which is reflected in these industry studies) and effective adoption.” said Harry. These topics and others will be discussed at Verification Futures.
Harry added “Today, many project teams are unable to quantify either the effectiveness or inefficiencies of the new solutions they put in place. Mentor Graphics is addressing this problem in three ways: developing productivity focused solutions whose results are easy to quantify, developing methodologies to ease the adoption of advanced techniques, and building skills in the industry to facilitate effective adoption of new solutions."
