CADENCE OVM_RGM2.2 RELEASE
Release 2.2
OVM_RGM 2.2 library with further advanced capabilities. The release has been tested by users on all major commercial simulators.
Simple examples for all enhancements are provided in the examples directory.
Library Enhancements:
- Ability to automatically dump register value changes to a text file
- Mode based (dynamic) fields registers – registers that change their structure based on other field or register values
- Support for burst registers rd/wr – enables specifying a consecutive register operations that should be sent in batches if the lower physical layer supports it
- Register and fields can be automatically synched their values to HDL values
- Ability to specify the transfer kind (byte, word etc’) from the registers layer
- 4 state value comparison for registers
- Built in sequences
- Clone logic moved outside register filter in built-in sequences to improve performance
- Register filter using name supports wildcards
- Prints the number of registers filtered inside banner
- Tag support for container elements
Parser Enhancements:
- Register table (one and two dimensional register array) support
- Multiple string tags for register file using <file_tag> vendor-extension
- Tags for containers
Bug Fixed:
- A few bug fixes – details available in release notes.
